On February 5th, a representative from Ok Taecyeon’s agency 51K clarified to iMBC Entertainment, “The rumors about Ok Taecyeon and his girlfriend getting married are not true. No specific date has been set yet.“
They further explained, “The photos currently gaining attention as a ‘proposal moment’ were actually taken on his girlfriend’s birthday last year. They seem to have resurfaced, leading to speculation that a wedding date has been set.“
Recently, netizens discovered several pictures of Ok Taecyeon on the account “The Best Photo Paris”. In these photos, Ok Taecyeon could be seen proposing to a woman – who is believed to be his non-celebrity girlfriend (now fiancée) – on one knee.
The couple, standing in front of the Eiffel Tower, could not hide their happiness and love, and a shot of them holding hands and showing off the engagement ring was also included.
Notably, the photos were published way back in April 2024, which means that almost 1 year has passed. Many netizens have expressed shock, with some wishing the couple a happy marriage, while some still vigilant as Ok Taecyeon has confirmed the engagement.
Meanwhile, previously, media outlet OSEN reported that Ok Taecyeon was seen enjoying a date with his non-celebrity girlfriend on the night of December 15th near Apgujeong Rodeo Station in Seoul. Despite the cold winter weather, the couple strolled the streets of Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, with his girlfriend holding his arm affectionately.
